Alone again standing on the brink
One way I see freedom,
the other I see hopelessness,fear
anger, hate
and that brings me to the edge
dangling like an autumn leaf
with those dull words in my ears
"step down, is it really worth it"
I thought to myself
Worth it? Worth it to wake up
knowing your life is pointless, pathetic
and crude? Worth it to go from day to day without a want?
"Everything will be okay."
"You're right, everything will be okay"
Just as soon as I let go
Just as soon as the tears dry
Just as soon as I step down
My foot went down
and with it, so did I.
