A Kiss

Your palms are sweaty as you reach for me
Unplanned, unexpected
Your hands grasp mine as you lean close.
Eyes close and I feel your lips upon mine
Soft rosy pillows I've imagined so many times against my own.
They slightly part and I feel you reach into me
For a moment our soulds become one.
Together we dance among stars in a heaven only known to us.
In an instant, I feel a flutter in my heart
And a warmth deep in my sould
Like some glimpse into the mind of an all-knowing being
It seems I've found my purpose.
Our lips unwillingly part as if pulled away by a strange darkness.
I have searched for meaning in the vast ocean of your eyes
But I have found it in your kiss.
