I watch you
So much like everyone else,
Like the mold assigned you.
On your own, happy and laughing
Denying responsibility
Using people for stepping stones
'Mid your journey to the top.
You fit in so well
In this world of selfishness.
But I, I am not like you.
Set apart because of my thoughts and actions
Judged by my abnormalities.
I cannot know such horror
As the mask you put on.
I refuse to pretend to love,
Pretend to loathe,
Pretend to live.
You may keep your world of facades
And I will keep mine.
