I'm lost somewhere
inside myself
Deep down where
sunlight can
no longer reach
And I find myself
wrapped up in
a tiny ball
Surrounded by
broken glass
The shrapnel of
the shattered dreams
broken promises
And lost hope
And I long for the feelings
of numbness
But the pain still pierces
what is left of my heart
And I am alone
