I see you
and my heart
falls
to depths beyond
the reach
of my small
hands
to places I wish
didn't exist
inside of me
I try to convince
my heart
it isn't breaking
all over again
And that it isn't
your arms
I suddenly
long
for
Because
I don't want to
Admit
That I still
love you.
And I don't want to
pick up the pieces
of my carelessly
shattered
heart
So some unknowing
person
will put it back
together
Until
I See
You
Again
But this time
My Heart
has fallen
just a little
deeper
Enough that
I don't think
I can overcome
this again
Because I don't want
To Admit
That I
Will Always
Love you.
