You say you want me, to have me to hold.
I make you happy, make you feel like you're gold
These words you keep saying, they make me feel good.
Make me feel like staying, I wish that I could.
When we are apart, I feel betrayed.
You step on my heart, you throw it away.
I was nothing but, feast for your famine.
A body for a night, a body for the havin'.
I want to tell you, but I am so scared.
Deep down I want you, I'm not sure if you cared.
You stay silent, for me to guess.
So I stay silent, until I can say yes.
What is it, that you want me to do?
Stand here and pretend, that I don't want you.
You rip me apart, do you think I am fun.
You've shattered my heart, my soul is undone.
I wish I could suspend, our nights in the air.
When I felt you loved me, when I felt you cared.
I'll take what you give me, take what I can.
I will give you all of me, all that I am.
