Wake me up when this nightmare ends,
Wake me up when my heart re-mends.
Until I can find myself in your arms once again,
And have no fear of you being with any other woman.
So I can dream again while being awake,
And know exactly what choices to take.
So I can look into your eyes and tell you that I love you,
And have my heart melt when you say “me too.”
Until you kiss me so that our bodies can become one,
And we can have no regrets of what we’ve done.
I want to awake from this bad reality,
Not having you here is my only malady.
So please wake me up when you come back,
Because the will to live is what I lack,
But don’t wake me up if your not here,
Or my heart will bleed a thousand tears.
