Heart; no more.

Hollow out my heart, my love.
Scoop out this pounding filling heat.
Acidic burn and melting sigh,
throw it away and stop its beat.
Little use and little love,
pointed sharp and lack of point.
Tainted mind that looks behind
and pain in every finger joint.

Silent cry in aching mind,
kill for me this heart you find.
I do not wish to love in vain
but help me softly, through the pain.
Oh, hollow out my heart, my love.
A hollow heart is best.
For without love is without pain,
beat no more; and rest.
