Take me away
From this sadness gone astray
Bury me inside
In the shadows I will hide

Chasing dreams I’ll never be
Stealing the starlight
From a distance in the night

How many grave tears must I cry
Before they drown these memories
With only silence as a friend
In a state of numbness again
I’m slipping away…

Mend this lone heart
Unchaining it from the dark

May I search for such a land
