Spin me a web, vast and wide
Hold me captive there inside
Cast out sorrows, and my cry
Watch them sink until they die

Neglected signs, pass my eyes
The darkness calls bringing lies
Fill me then with, make complete
Emptiness in so concrete

Earthly shadows, gripping death
Leading me where nothing’s left
As a child, down the lane
Alone outside in the rain

Secret whispers, in the air
Sting my heart then disappear
Like a thousand, tiny knives
Each one attacks taking lives

Breathing softly, pure as white
Steal the sun and all its light
On top the moon, sleeping sound
Distant stars are where I’m bound.
