For such a little word
It has an awful lot of meaning
It’s the person who is there for me
As a friend, a parent, and an advice giver
She’s the best friend
Anyone could have
She’s the coolest parent
Out of her and dad and all my friend’s
True, she can be a dork at times
But then I know I AM her daughter
We have the best times together
And I never want her to go
But when she does
I know that she will keep me safe
And watch over me every day
So on this very Mother’s Day
And every other day
I’d like to thank you for being there
And loving me and being my
Very bestest friend!
