Fall, it’s what I do every time
So innocent and blind
I get caught up in the moment
A language spoken in riddles
Longing to hear more

The warmth is gone and now it’s cold
Truth is shining through your words
It’s all down hill from here

Denial is like a routine
Friends start to fade
Addiction is strong
Only one thing left to do

Scarred wrists and throbbing pain
Emptiness is closing in
Brain function is low
My heart is all over the floor

Relapse will not occur
This typical stumble will be a steady pace
Walls are rebuilt with extra reinforcement
Riddles no longer make sense to me

A single soul dwelling in two bodies
The other body left unfound
Waiting for the moment
When an untypical guy is finally found
