Love is such a holy place
So much has it been tred upon
Worn out and withered
It's meaning is lost
Within the depths of darkness
Meaningless and torn apart

Lost to the lovers who took their lives
Lost to the ones who's love shouldnt have died
Lost is it to the parents of today
And lost it shall be to their offspring

It's a cruel joke
A pretend word
Used only by those searching for fun

It's a childs game
A meaningless name
Nothing but a stupid slang term

Bring back the meaning
Bring it back to life
The future wants to know what it's like
As much as it may hurt at times
It's better than not knowing
Unbury the truth
Show the future what love really is
