He gave me a ribboned flower
With water you can tame
Reminding him of a scent familiar
A scent that spelled my name

And when the flower grew ripe into its color
Compared to loves meaning, its name is so much smaller
Its beauty can’t hint it
Any language can't admit
They don’t even seem to fit
Not even dreams dare to ponder
Longer than paths that you my
wander

But this path grew to long and I had no place to turn
For I traveled on the wrong path
On a heart I did not earn
As did with all my tears I've cried
The petals begin to fall
And from the world that I set aside
There was no love at all
