You're like an angel
sent from up above.
If i can't have your love,
Spare me the grief and pain,
So I will remain sane.
Just let me be,
I won't envy in jealousy,
can't you see
As I plea,
For you to live a good life
and do your part.
Even though it's breaking my heart.
I want you to live
a good life.
So I'm making this sacrifice,
to let you go.
So you can open the door
To new things and faces
to new dreams and places.
Don't get me wrong,
you'll always be my true love
that's why I'm writin this poem.
But if i don't have the key
to your heart,
Some other girl must win the part.
I know I'm making this long,
but it's keeping me strong,
To tell you that
If you aint happy with me
I'll let you go
So you can be.
