I look back at the past as if it was so long ago. Those nights I waited till
morning just to see your face. The days I longed for us to play and be
happy. But little did I know that I was the only one. How could a meer child
know about pure sadness? The depressed heart pressed on for a short time
until our whole world turned upside down. The night you left scarred me for
life. Seeing you pack your things and walk away still to this day haunt my
dreams. I know you and mom didnt get along but you could have stayed for me.
I needed you. You were my strength and protection. But most of all.... my
dad
