Thoughs days I was so scared
My heart would beat so fast
Never knowing how you were
Or what you did that weekend
I was scared to ride with you and stupid to get in
I would pray silently that I would be alright
And when you said,"No more,no more"
I would say,"Ya right"
And I knew you were lieing
Because you would drink the very next night
Sometimes I thought of leaving you
But I never did
Because I knew you would eventually change
Time went on,problems accured
And you would drink right through
How could you have done it so many years
And know, that all along we knew
It took time and work to get to you
But eventually you came around
Changing your life step by step
I hope I have told you so many time that I am proud of you
I think God granted me a miracle
For all the times I've prayed
I wished and wished
That you would get help some day
That day has come and gone
And look at you now
A mother again
Thank you GOD for granting my wish come true
You gave me back everything
You gave me back MY MOTHER!
