As the pier rocks under the gentle waves of the bay
Reminds me of my life
How you calmed me down
And made me rock

The reflection of the fireworks
Shining off the surface of the water
Reminds me of how your eyes shined with joy
Even in the dark

When my arms where empty
You where always there for me to hold
When my heart was shatterd
You pieced back together my heart
and my life

And in that moment
When all I thought about was you
I think about what you mean to me
