The darkness consumes me as my mind and heart go black
and the evil within spreads
as the anger and pain grows

Like poison, the darkness flows through my body, strangling my soul

As my body goes cold,
imprisoned in isolation and hatred,
I feel my life draining away into puddles of hoplessness and failure

The angel of death approaches me as the darkness gets stronger
and hinders my abilities to breathe or think

As he reaches out
and takes me away,
I know I am gone,
lost from memory, body, and spirit

I have been destroyed,
taken by the infernal path of darkness
