Suicide
He says suicide is the only way out
His stupidity made her want to scream and shout
What was so wrong with his life
That he had to end it with a bloody knife?
He was a jock, popular, and smart
It seemed his life was only sweet and no tart
But she didn’t feel his stress every day
And that he felt suicide was the only way
Now she’s beginning to understand
Why he wanted to be in a foreign land
Its true she’s part of the elite
But taking another day seemed a feat
She kept her feelings bottled inside
And her life was being fried
Failing school, her boyfriend dead
Voices screaming inside her head
An ongoing battle beneath her skin
Somehow she knew, she’d never win
Somebody else was controlling her life
And she really didn’t want it to end with a knife
Yet she set her mind one stormy night
She knew she had lost the fight
So she walked to the docks by the beach
She knew now she was just out of deaths reach
So she jumped and she was engulfed
Her life had ended, far from stuffed
In the ice cold water, out pulled the tide
And that was it, her suicide.
