You Didn't Say Goodbye

I sit alone in the darkness of my room.
Not a light around to shine.
I'm crying over you again.
I must be out of my mind.

You were leaving forever
And walking out of my life.
You'd brought me pleasure,
I guess the pleasure had to die.

I love you more than life itself,
But you stopped loving me.
Like a broken toy, I was placed upon a shelf.
Why did this have to be?

You didn't look back.
You didn't cry.
You didn't see my cold blank stare.
And you didn't say goodbye.
