My wish this Christmas would be,
To have my Grandfather feeling dandy
He’s been sick,
For far too long
He even wrote the family a beautiful song,
To tell us that he loves us,
And for all of us to be strong
But it gets hard sometimes,
Knowing he’s not going to be around for long
It’s hard on us kids,
To talk about this
But we all pray
That maybe one day
The cancer would just go away
The doctor said it’s getting worse
But the medicine he takes is very strong
And it’s destroying the cancer
As it should
So my wish this Christmas would be,
To have my grandfather feeling dandy
