Lonely Girl

This lonely little girl
lays alone in her bed
thinking about her life
and how she wishes she were dead..

The tears that she's cried
are too many to count
and the pain she's endured
always seems to amount

she goes day by day
living her life,
dealing with stress
without picking up a knife

Until this one day
She lays in her bed
tears start streaming
and she wants it to end

She goes to the bathroom
flicks on the light
gets a knife and a full bottle
and said "if i'm gonna do this, i'm gonna do it right"

She empties the bottle
and cuts down deep
she falls to the floor
waking her parents from their sleep

Her dad calls for help
and her mother starts to scream
they both ask "why"
as the blood gleams

The ambulance comes,
they take her away
and her parents both ask
"will she live to see another day?"

The medics pump her stomach
and replace the blood from the cut
she'll be sick for some time..
but she'll eventually wake up

Two days later
the doctors walk in,
take a few notes
and turn to walk away.

The minute they leave,
she starts to kick and scream
they come back running and say
"what do you need"

For a long while she stared,
stared them straight in the eye
until finnally she asks them
"why won't i die"
