I was apart from you so long.
I cried and cried while u were gone.
What if u forgot the promise we had?
After that i was so sad.
I was so overcome with grief,
I would turn anywhere for relief.
I told u i would wait,
and see our fate.
If u held your promise in the end,
or if I was just ur friend.
I got some advice,
that my vice,
was so wrong and untrue.
It was then i knew i loved you.
No matter who you are,
you are my shining star.

you make my sadness recede.
