It seemed just like yesterday when we were looking at each other like
nothing else mattered
Now we can't even look the some direction because our hearts are
battered
You said you would always love me
But now it just seems as if you judge me
You said things wouldn't work out
I sure did try to doubt
I really wanted us to work but it seems as if the more i wanted you the more
you went away
That could be the reason i cry each day
I might not have been the perfect person you wanted or needed
But I was the one who was there for you when you were all heated
