The day I could say
I met him

He captured my heart with his poetic words
Before we had even met
I knew it was him, that he was the one
Right then I was caught in an emotional net

When we met
It was like I'd known him for years
But I was scared he'd brake my heart
He promised me that I had nothing to fear
Just then I knew he'd always have my heart

But now we're not talking
And he hasn't called me
I'm thinking about
The promise he made me

Now I'm just waiting
At the same time debating
That he can't be this way
Because the boy I know saved me

From millions of things
Now everytime my phone rings
I hope that it's him
I just cannot forget him

Because he made an impression
That imprinted my heart
Let him slip away?
I'm just not gon' let him.
