We just want to be normal
To live and breathe the same
To wake up without tears in our eyes
But we can’t, and we’re not to blame

We just want to believe
There’s hope for us someday
To dream without the fear of lies
And to know we’ll be o.k.

We just want to know
Why we’ve been hurt so bad
And if we think were over it
Than why the hell are we so sad?

We just want to love
Without broken promises and dreams
But were use to it, and we hide it well
Beneath the silent screams

We just want to be normal
To live and breathe the same
But what exactly is normal?
It’s something we overcame
