the end of me & you
i was trying to move on
accept the fact you're gone
i knew that you loved me

then one day a letter came
the return address had your name
i looked @ the envelope, my heart beating fast
just hoping that our love did truely last
i read the words you wrote
my heart still filled with hope
i hope those words you mean
because it all feels like a dream
you want to start a new life
and want me to be your wife
so many things you want to change
w/ my help, our lives we'll rearrange
when you were out on the street
my life felt so incomplete
for over those three years
now I feel you here
but I know right now your locked away
for the wrongs you did, the price you pay
but soon enough we'll have our day
& we can live our lives our own way
I could never picture being with someone else
when im with you I feel like I have enormous wealth
for now we can take it slow
& let the love we have grow
now i really see
