Show Me
A morbid child I was born and
life was filled with greed.
My mother never raised me right
And no one looked up to me.
Father never listened; he was never there.
An only child, lost and alone-
Living in the rats’ lair.

School was never perfect
Though it never is.
The children only laughed at me
And I never was the wizz.
The teachers never listened; they never understood.
To change my life, I would give up anything
I would do it if I could.

Answer me this fucking question:
Who the fuck am I?
I’d really like to know my name
Before my life runs dry.
Answer me now, if you’re so wise,
And tell me all you know.
Or are you afraid of something different?
Oh, your wisdom never shows.

Maybe my birth was meant to be
Just a little deeper.
Maybe it’s me… maybe it’s just me.
Maybe it’s me… maybe it’s just me.

Answer me now, if you’re so wise,
And tell me all you know.
Or are you afraid of something different?
Oh, your wisdom never shows.
