Goodbye My Love

When i said goodbye to my love,
It seemed like time was hanging above,
With whispers spoken and dove heard,
It felt like a dream but very unsure.

As time ran out I felt alone,
I would never feel at home,
But the moment boats were drifting,
My hopes were suddenly lifting.

But it all faded away,
Just for me to say,
All I ever heard was the sound of the morning’s bird.

I felt wrong,
Because my love for him was so strong,
Even god was unsure,
That love could ever be true.
