You looked me straight in the eye
And I begged and pleaded for you not to lie.
You told me how everything would be different this time.
But it's still the same cycle nite after nite.
You said, "Give me just once more chance."
So I did thinking I'd find Romance.
You want me to love you, but no I just can't.
Did you just make up words to get in my pants?
When I'm with you there's so many problems I have to face.
I feel like I'd be better off if the feelings would just erase.
Even though I know my love for you wont be replaced.
No longer up and down this hall I will pace.
I'm gonna give you what you wanted, which is your space.
Hopefully next time you're ready it wont be too late.
I've given up at the drama and I'm leaving it up to fate.
I need to stop all of this because it's making my heart ache.
I'm out of the dream wold and so now I'm awake.
I'm realizing now everything you say will always be fake.
