I Still Loved You

How could you?
You left me to wither you left me to die
you left me alone
but worst of all, you lied

You said you'd be there forever,
you said you'd never leave
You told me you loved me
but I was a fool to believe

Now you feel guilty
For causing my death
But now it's too late,
I've already crossed through Heaven's gate

So now you pray every night
That everything will be alright
Thinking that it might bring me back,
But really you're only taking one step forward and two steps back

But as I watched you from the sky
I realized you really cared
When you picked up that butcher's knife

Watching you do it, I saw you fall
Your body fell like an old rag doll
"Goodbye," I whispered from the Heavens
And admitted I still loved you as tears fell silently down my face and
through the clouds
