why should i allow myself that one little tear?
why would i show my fears?
why even worry about what they think?
they've already made up their thoughts.
why do i sit here and feel sorry?
sorry that i might hurt you.
when all that you've ever done is hurt me ?
why did you make me promise not to fall?
i didnt fall, i tripped
fire didnt burn me
a knife did cut me
i slipped and tripped
therefore i didnt fall
i never broke our lil promise
not that it meant anything
dont make me promise something you dont care about.
i never fell
and i will never fall
i will only TRIP
