Holes In Pockets

Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket,
Never let it fade away,
Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket,
Save it for a rainy day.

But what if your pocket has a whole in it,
The star would fall,
Deep into a pit,
Away from all.

Not its bright light,
Nor its soft tune,
Will bring it to sight,
In the light of silver moon.

It will fade away,
All luck will be gone,
Stars never stay,
We must move on.
