My saddened eyes burn with tiny crystals, the
Effect of a numbing pain I cannot describe.
I take a breath and the air is so cold I
Can feel the walls of my lungs suffocate with ice.
The dreams that fill my head hang above in clouds
Blinding me with their insecure preminitions, and
You, tripping and screaming, reach for the hand
Of a stranger recovering from your afflictions.
But it's strange how such a thing can take such form-
An unknown form of what thats unknown but put aside.
Its hand touched my face, tears stroked my cheeks,
Then I counted the colors behind my eyes.
And I , lying still and asleep beside myself,
Watch you in this sadly questionable encounter.
Muse your existence, your independence, strength;
Punish yourself, live on how you have faultered.
Look and see, through the colored glass you live,
That you are wondering in this desert without water.
Know that when you walk you will be cut in two
By the dust and blood will be your nights cover.
With only believing what you know and living without
Shadow, walk, walk away so you die happy.
But your theory cannot take you both ways.
Remember this when you walk in chains freely.
