Sun rays shining down,
on her beautiful evening gown.
Her date waiting anxiously by his car,
thought that she was as radiant as a star.
They arrived at the extravagent celebration.
She was more beautiful than the entire population.
They danced and danced for hours long,
they sat down for not one song.
From the bar, her date had a drink,
but by his third her heart began to sink.
Her night as a princess was over.
Her date was far from sober.
She couldnt wait to get home into a warm bath,
unfortunately that night, God showed his wrath.
he ran a red light and crashed head on,
at impact her date was gone.
The ambulances rushed to the scene of the crash.
The car was in a total smash.
The paramedics rushed her to the emergency room,
where her parents waited with an enourmous doom.
At the age of 16, she drifted off into eternal sleep.
Still now, her friends and family sadly weep.
