You say there’s trust in the world
that no matter what you can trust anyone.
But you were wrong,
you can’t trust everyone,
you can’t even trust me.
For I have told many secrets,
and started many rumors.
I have seen many get hurt,
me included.
I want everyone to trust me again,
like they did back when we were young.
I’d understand if you weren’t able to,
for I know it is hard to trust someone
when promises have been broken.
