sometimes i act
to make everything seem ok
but you dont understand
that under the smiles are the tears
late at night when everyone is a sleep
i lay in my bed and cry
for all the mistakes i've made
for all the mistakes i know i cant stop from making
i cry for letting you down
i cry knowing ill keep letting you down
but for all the pain ive caused
i promise ill make it up one day
and that day starts today
