And i guess we're back again where we started.
your hurtful words are why we parted.
perhaps you wanted me to go away.
i always knew you didn't want me to stay.
why'd you have to do it like this?
God knows there is not just one thing i miss.
if only you didn't tell me that i'm not worth it.
if only you didn't try to force it.
i swear we could have been friends for all time.
but instead, i'm not the only one you want to dine.
we can't lock eyes, it only brings me down.
but i know it makes you grin, seeing me frown.
if one day, we do speak again,
i will try my hardest to forget,
and let us both win.
