If It Should Be...

You said you'd be there
When I needed you most
You said I could be
Whatever I choose

But when I hit
The very end
You left me
Without a friend

You pointed and said
It was all my fault
And that's when my world
Came to a halt

I then met a friend
Whoes actions were true
He always did instead of said
He was better than you

I miss you
A lot each and everyday
But I remember your words
And your meaningless ways

One day I pray
You will come to me
And we will become friends
The way it should be

But if it should be
Me without you
I will always have friends
Who will always be true
