Is it a bad thing to hate someone
your really supposed to love,
Is it a bad thing to be glad that
person's finally gone down below
or up above,
Well thats too bad, because I do,
I hated him, and I hate my mom too,
All they did is yell, hit, and criticize,
Well, now he's gone and she can
go pick on someone her own god
damn size,
I might seem really crazy or stupid
to you,
But you dont know what i had to go
through,
For 14 years I had to wear long
sleeved shirts to hide what they
did,
For 14 years I tried to make myself
believe that everyone did this to
their kid,
For 14 years I didnt have one friend
cause i was afraid they'd all find out,
For 14 years I wanted to kill myself,
but didn't and sat in a corner to
pout,
Well that all ended two years ago
when I moved in with a friend,
This was the first person who
understood me, and so I'll keep
this friendship till the end,
Emma and her family showed me
for the first time what it felt like to be
loved,
They never yell, scream, swear,
push or shove,
I love this family and they end of this
poem is for them,
Thanks for everything you did for
me,
Thanks for finally making me see,
Thanks for the clothes, money, and
food,
Thanks for giving me the life I
couldn't have before,
Most of all, thanks for telling me you love me, and believe me I LOVE
YOU MORE
