now I sit and only wish we were still together

now it sounds like shit
my life used to evolve around being with you
now it evolves around wishing I was with you
we used to hang out together
now you hang out with “her”
you used to make me feel so special
now you make me feel so used
I used to go out of my way to see you
now I go out of my way to avoid you
I used to be so happy when I was with you
now I feel angry
I used to be so afraid of letting you go
now I’m afraid of letting you come back
I used to tell people how good you made me feel
now I tell them how you hurt me
I used to think of you all the time
now I try not to
it used to be if I ever had one wish, I would wish to be together forever
that’s the one thing I still wish
