I Thought You Said You’d Always Care.

That When I Fell You Would Be There.

You Lied To Me And Broke My Heart,

You Pulled My Trust Into The Dark.

I Relied On You To Help me Along.

You Did Somewhat And Then Said So Long.

Why Did You Do All This To me,

When I Became What You Wanted Me To Be?

For You, My Love, My Acquaintance.

How Could Your Love Rely On Circumstance?

You Made Me Promises You Couldn’t Keep,

I Learned The Hard Way, Talk Is Cheap.

You Said You Loved Me, Then You Stepped On Me.

Others Saw What I Was Too Blind To See.

I Knew That With Love Would Come The Pain,

Now I Know Why Married Women Go Insane.

You Left me On The Brink Of Desperation,

I Got On That Road To Restoration.

So Get That Thought Of Togetherness Out Of Your Head,

Because To Me, Our Love Is Dead.
